WATER SAFETY
recommendations for riding electric foils in the sea

PITCHES AND SHALLOW DEPTH
Do not ride close to shores or steep cliffs. In Turkey, there are often large pitfalls that have fallen from the cliffs. Avoid riding between rocks and small islands. Minimum depth of 1.5 meters.
FOLLOW TRAFFIC RULES
Do not interfere with other road users on the water.
Do not interfere with mooring. Do not follow behind a motor boat, even if it is moving faster than you - its maneuvers may be unpredictable for you, including an abrupt stop.
ROPES AND MOORINGS
When riding near boats, remember about the mooring lines stretched from the yacht to the shore. In Turkey, anchoring with extending to the shore is very common. Anchor chains and moorings on piers can also become an obstacle.
AWAY FROM SWIMMERS
It is very important not to ride near people. Do not ride beyond the fencing of the beaches. Choose the trajectory of movement so as not to scare or injure swimmers. Also pay attention to single swimmers outside general swimming areas, including underwater hunters who usually swim along steep coastal cliffs.
DISTANCE WHEN RIDING IN A GROUP
If you ride electric foils with two or more people, do not follow each other. A wake is created behind the rider in front, crossing which can cause you to lose your balance if you are just learning to ride. And of course, you need to have time and distance to maneuver if another rider falls in front of you. When making turns in a group, always agree on this in advance.
FISHING NETS
Don't ride around fishermen, they might set up nets. Do not drive close to boats that are fishing, including yachts carrying a spinning rod on the stern.
GARBAGE IN WATER
Do not run over debris or algae; even a small bag caught in the propeller will cause you to fall.
EFOIL CHARGE LEVEL
Monitor the battery consumption of the electric foil on your remote control. If you have planned a long route in one direction, return back no later than when half the charge remains. The last two bars of the battery are reserve ones; they are needed for the rider to return to base from a nearby water area. For identification and reminders, they are highlighted in red.
OBSTACLE, WHAT TO DO?
If you see an obstacle and don’t understand how to get around it or don’t have time to turn away, just throw the gas trigger, the board will instantly stop - it’s safe to fall into the water, especially since we give you equipment.
